Men reaching out to men with the desire to strengthen and impact one another through prayer and wholesome fellowship. This creates opportunities for the men to become more involved in making a positive difference not only in their personal lives but in the church as well.

We aim to provide our church, families and community at large with godly leaders and positive role models.

Women's Ministry Leader:

Melissa Hikila

Our ladies fellowship group is a group of diverse ladies of different ages, different cultures and a variety of backgrounds who come together at the Pentecostals of Cairns.  Our goal for 2019 is to grow as women of God, women who love God’s word and women who strive to work in God’s kingdom.  We strive to show forth a love for each other that is genuine and practical.  We encourage each other to grow and develop in an atmosphere that is inclusive and we aim to show forth God’s grace and mercy to each other.

We enjoy spending time together over a variety of activities including bible studies, coffee dates, dinners, esplanade walks and movies.   We would love to have you come and walk alongside us on our journey through this life living for and loving God.

Music Ministry Leader: Randall Brittain

It is our passion and purpose at The Pentecostals of Cairns to worship and glorify God with all of our being, because that was what we were created to do. Music has always been used as an essential medium for worship, since even before the existence of humanity, and always will be. Know that when you come into our services, you are in the midst of genuine people, in genuine worship, to genuine music.

The mission for the POC Worship team is to create fresh, beautiful music to the best of our ever-expanding abilities for:

• the glorification of the one, true God,

• the spreading of His Gospel, and

• the leading of the people into a realm of intimate, Holy Spirit-filled worship.

It is our vision to witness the Australian and even the global community be impacted and inspired, therefore furthering God’s Kingdom through our labour and passion for music and worship.

Youth Leader: David Hikila

Our youth group is for those in high-school and young adults!

We are a christian youth group passionate about God and having fun! Youth activities include fishing, bowling, games nights, dinners, teaching and sharing sessions, youth services, as well as and regional or national youth camps.

POC Children’s Director: Sasha Smith

Our mission for the children of the Pentecostals of Cairns is for each child to discover how to have their own personal relationship with God, in a loving and caring atmosphere.

Our vision here at POC Kids is to see each child leave every encounter feeling like they felt the powerful love of God, whether it be from the lesson imparted, or by the compassion and support they receive from our team of teachers. We desire for the children to understand that they are a vital part of the Church, just as Christ proclaims in Luke 18:16 (NKJV):

16 But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.”

POC Kids Creche is between ages 2 - 5 years

POC Kids Sunday School is between ages 5 - 12 years

The POC Kids Club falls on the last Saturday of every month. Please contact us for more information!

 Care Ministry Leader: Pou Hikila

This ministry is committed to connecting and equipping Christians to share their lives, resources and talents with others. Being God’s heart and hands is the very core purpose of this ministry.

Our care ministry team look for needs and meet them. We offer love and support to those in need and to those who are experiencing difficult times. We reach out and minister, not only to the church community but to the lives of others in the community at large through hospital and home visits, grief support, mission fields’ supports, intercessory prayer and prison ministry.

Our mission is to reflect the love of Christ.

Working together with the local churches across Australia that are part of the United Pentecostal Church Australia (UPCA), we endeavor to spread the Gospel (the good news!) throughout Australia and Overseas and show compassion to those in need.
